Dear Friends,

The Lord Jesus has been gracious for another year and it’s time to acknowledge His goodness. The big news for Ellen and I was to sell Cargo Vale and move back to Orange on 19^th June, just before the biggest snow for 30 years. We still have a large home to accommodate the family when they call, and you if you care to drop in.

But now Ellen has revamped the front.

VSN has continued to support my (Arthur) work on ASReml which in turn has funded my continued support for believers in Bangladesh. I visited there again in November.

2015 saw the release of ASReml 4 and the commencement of developments for ASReml 5. The big surprise for the year though was to receive the Helen Newton Turner Medal for my ‘contributions to Australian Animal Genetics’ at the AAABG meeting held in Lorne.

In receiving this medal, I attempted to acknowledge the incredible design in the genetic architecture whereby God has built into the genome great potential for increased productivity in improved environments. No evolution here.

We have continued to fellowship in the Assembly in Orange, particularly reaching out through a small Sunday School, although several long-term members have gone ahead to glory.

FM103.5 continues but could well do with some fresh blood if the Lord sees fit.

The family are going on. Julie-Ann and Keith have 2 foster children in care. Their 4 all received good school reports. Poest has completed year 9! Lois has been back and forth a bit. She plans to be home for Christmas and New Year. Kelvin has been visiting Indonesia regularly to support believers, giving Ellen a great excuse to visit Tasmania. Hannah and Hyland had good school reports. Theo does delight us through Skype. Andrew has moved into a new house with his mates. He is pleased to supplement his cleaning income with some IT work for a window manufacturer.

Healthwise, we are doing fine although we have slowed down a lot. No big changes are expected for 2016.

The marvel of the gospel message is Jesus invitation: Come to me all you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and My burden is light. (Matt 11:28-30)

Jesus Himself takes the heavy load when we join with him. May you experience His joy and Peace in 2016.
